Brad and Carol Ridinger, Owners
Brad and Carol Ridinger own and operate Ridinger Cattle Company.
Brad is the definition of a cattleman. He has been around cattle his entire life, and loves the western way of life. Brad was formally educated at Colorado State where he was also an active member of a very successful livestock judging team. Brad’s eye for excellence in beef cattle has produced 18 show champions, and countless division winners. Brad lives by the cowboy code, and devotes his life to improving the genetic quality of cattle.
Carol Ridinger has been around livestock since before she could walk. She comes from generations of farmers and ranchers. She has been employed in the agriculture industry since she was 16 years old, and has a passion for Gelbvieh cattle. Carol is an essential part of the Ridinger cattle program, and particularly enjoys seeing the new calf crop each spring and fall.
Ridinger Cattle Company
Established in 1982, Ridinger Cattle Company is a pioneer of progress in the beef cattle industry. We strive to produce elite Gelbvieh and Balancer® genetics that are making an impact today and for generations to come. Our breeding program philosophy is to balance growth, carcass, and phenotype to produce bulls and females that excel in all environments for our customers.
We have both spring and fall calving seasons – utilizing both embryo transfer and artificial insemination to propagate our elite genetics. Our herd sire line up consists of several National Champion Gelbvieh and Balancer bulls, which we raised. Some of the breed’s most influential cow families make up our donor pen. Occasionally we introduce new genetics – in new herd sires or potential donor cows – that have the potential to advance our program goals.
